Nicolas Garcia, age 91, passed away at home, August 29, 2003. He was born and lived in Albuquerque. Nicolas was preceded in death by his wife, Trinidad Garcia; daughter, Ninfa Maldonado and son, Richard Garcia. He is survived by his children, Mary Rodriquez, Chris Garcia, Gloria Maldonado, Phyllis Jergenson, and Ruth Medrano; 37 grandchildren; 125 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; special granddaughter, Angelica Coronado, and other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Rosaries will be held at 3144 Kingsbury SW. Rosaries will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2003 and Monday, September 1, 2003. Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marcelino Aragon, Augustine Saenz, Mark Garcia, Ernest Garcia, Eric Maldonado, Ray Johnson, Chris Garcia Jr., and Vincent Garcia.
