Obituary for Ingmire

Franklin Ingmire, 66, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2003. Franklin was born July 13,1936 the son of Thomas D. and Minnie Slector Allen Ingmire in Clifty, Arkansas. He had worked in Real Estate, served in the US Navy, was a graduate of Tulsa University, and he was a long standing, ardent supporter of the Democratic Party. Franklin had a heart as big as the sky, that eventually broke after the death of his wife, Elizabeth in January 2003. He was preceded in death by his wife; an infantsister; two brothers, Tommy and Ed; two sisters, GenevieveCartwright and Henrietta Van Winkle. Franklin is survived by his daughter, Inger Marie Barlow and husband, Joel of Oologah, OK, son, Thomas E. Ingmire M.D.and wife, Kimberlee Ann of Edmond, OK; step-daughter, Bertanie Duong of Rio Rancho, NM; and step-son, Nicolas Duong of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Phyllis Ingraham of Springdale, AR, Ruth Oliver of Clifty, AR, and Betty Nelson of Halton City, TX; two brothers, Virgil Ingmire of Drakes Creek, AR, and Pete Ingmire of St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren, Joel Thomas Barlow, Chapman Lee Barlow, Clayton Thomas Ingmire, and Lauren Etta Ingmire. A Private Graveside Service was held on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 in Vista Verde Memorial Park with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating and Col. Craig Chamberlain played the bagpipes.
