Rebecca Trujillo, age 82, beloved mother, sister and aunt was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Sunday, March 30, 2003. Rebecca was born on May 13, 1920 in Cuba, NM to the late Liberato and Manuelita Romero. She was preceded in death by her husband Heracilo Trujillo in 1980; sisters, Lisiada, Placida; brothers, Ernest, Trinidad and Frank. She is survived by her daughter Sara Mitchell; one grandson, Jason; two brothers, Tranilliano Romero and wife Agnes, Eliseo Romero; one sister Beatrice Duran and husband Louie; special friends, Rebecca, Sally and Laura; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Rebecca will be greatly missed by her loving family and those who knew and loved her. Visitations will be held Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary, where a rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.
