James "Jim" M. Townsend, 75, a resident of Albuquerque since 1970, died Wednesday, August 27, 2003. He is survived by his sister, Juanita Thiebault of Pascagaula, MS, and his special lady, Amanda Johnson and her mother Sandy Hosier. James was born in Philadelphia, MS and served his country in the US Air Force and the Army having served during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He had a spice and zest for life and a love of the finer things. James enjoyed his quite home life and loved his neighbors as well. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2003 at 3:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
