Daniel P. Chavez, 22, a resident of Albuquerque. passed away on September 1, 2003. Daniel is survived by his parents, Henry and Margaret Chavez; his sister, Angela Chavez and boyfriend, Rey Mora; his brother, Mario Chavez and girlfriend, Alicia Garcia and her daughter, Juliana; and his niece, Sarah Chavez. Daniel was a member of the Catholic Church, an avid sports fan and employed with Chavez Auto Parts. Daniel was recently united with his biological family, Denise Lovato, Charles Marquez, Antonio Griego, Andres Marquez, Charles Marquez, Destiny Lovato and Florencia Laris; he was also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Thursday from 7:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with a Scripture Service at 7:30pm. Final visitation will be Friday morning from 9:30am until 10:00 a.m. in the Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Gino Correa. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Monica Chavez, Paul Anthony Chavez, David Barela, Matthew Chavez, Dominic Otero, and Carlos Otero. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Chavez, Antonio Griego, Andres Marquez, Joseph Chavez, Manny Otero, Ray A. Chavez, Richard Chavez, Brian Barela and Jody Moya.
