Marvis Katherine McKnight. Our cherished mom, grandmother, sister, aunt, wife, and friend passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at home surrounded by family. She fought courageously and went peacefully. Marvis is preceded in death by her husband, Richard. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Stueber, Donna Kohler and her husband, Mitchell, Laura Filbert and her husband, John; son, Joseph McKnight; grandchildren, Christopher, Kevin, Bailey, John, Cody, Meghan, and Emily Jo; brother, Arthur O'Connell, and her nephew and nieces, Joseph, Sheila, and Barbara Ann. Mom will be most remembered for her unwavering love for family and friends, her humorous outlook on life, and her love for the ocean. Graveside services will be held at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Saturday, September 6, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the New Mexico Center, 4901 Lang NE.
