 MONTOYA, ELOY age 96, a lifelong resident of the Village of La Bajada, NM passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015. Mr. Montoya is survived by children, Eloy B. Montoya Jr., Rosella Urrea, Patricia Diane Montoya; brother, Emiterio Montoya Jr.; his grandchildren, Fabrienne, Millicent, Greg, Erick, Gabrielle, David, Jessica, Erica, and Laura; his great-grandchildren, Michael, Tristen, James, Vivien, Adrian, Lorena, Andrea, Erick Jr., Courtnee, Rylee, Ayvree, Michaela, Ethan, Jayden, Elijah, and Isabella; his dog, Buddy; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Montoya was preceded in death by his wife, Odilia. Mr. Montoya was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII. Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, 2015 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 2:30 p.m. Final visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Pena Blanca, NM from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. A Committal Service will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be David Urrea, Greg Montoya, Erick Montoya, Luis Mariscal, Darren Munsenburger, and Ramon Delgado.
