KOMINIAK, GEORGE J. A resident of Corrales, NM since 1977, died peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, February 13, 2015. He was surrounded by loving family and friends. George moved from his birthplace in New Jersey to New Mexico in 1969 to join the staff at Sandia National Labs from where he retired after 38 years in 2007. He began his career working in Bell Labs in NJ. He also served 6 years in the Air Force Reserves. He is survived by Patricia, his beloved wife of 52 years; sons Scott and Tim of Corrales; son Matthew and daughter-in-law Christine of Mesa, AZ; grandsons Owen and Tice; sister Carol of Sandia Park, NM; and nephew Michael of Chicago, IL. George will always be remembered for his unique sense of humor. His legacy is his thoughtfulness, kindness and generosity to all.
