 TORRES, JUAN JR. age 90, born in Salem, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away, February 16, 2015. Mr. Torres is survived by his children, Orlando Torres and wife, Diana, Armando Torres and wife, Stella, and Donald Torres; sister, Natalia Benavidez and husband, Oscar; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Torres was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha; brothers, Ignacio Torres, and Henry Torres; sister, Ventura Martinez; and great-grandson, Tomas Gallegos. Mr. Torres was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII as a Combat Medic. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Patricia Muniz-Robert. Final visitation will be Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 8:30 until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Juan Torres, Dominic Valencia, T.J. Trujillo, Tommy Trujillo, Mike Baca, and Billy Roybal.
