 ARMIJO, JUANITA L. Age 90, born June 6, 1924 in Cabezon, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at home with her family at her side. Juanita is survived by her daughters, Dolores (Dino), Josie and husband, Arnufo, and Rachael (Tippy); several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews, Mary and husband, Larry, Vincent and wife, Jeanie, Rita and husband, Oscar, Michael and companion, Angel; her special pets, The Doo and Pansas, who will miss her; also several nieces and nephews on her maternal side. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Lalo Armijo; and her son, Lalo Armijo Jr. Juanita was raised in Ponderosa, NM until the time of her marriage, moving to Albuquerque and was married to Lalo for sixty-eight years, he was the love of her life and her best friend. Juanita was the last of the Lopez siblings. Visitation will be Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.at Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, 2150 Raymac SW with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Monday, February 16, 2015 from 9:30 a.m .until 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Urnbearer will be Amarante (Monte) Olivas.
