 BALLARD, MARIE A. Marie A. Ballard, passed away peacefully at home February 10, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Steve; her daughter, Lisa Marie Ballard and many other family and friends. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Gertrude Yerhart. Marie received her Bachelors Degree in Education and was a dedicated Elementary School teacher for over 40 years before retiring. As the wife of a United States Air Force retiree, she enjoyed traveling with her family throughout the United States and Europe. Marie was a faithful member of The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and a devoted wife and mother. Friends may visit Monday, February 23, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, February 24, 2015, 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd NE with burial following at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
