ROBERTS, WENDY KAY (SCHNEIDER) died peacefully, surrounded by love on January 25th, 2015. She was 57 years of age. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on December 11th, 1957 and lived all her life in Albuquerque. Wendy worked in the dental profession where she was a mentor and made life-long friends. She was an asset in getting UNM's Dental Clinic up and running. Helping others was one of Wendy's passions and she took great pride in the success of the dental clinic since it was an everyday chance to help others in her community. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and kind heart. The family expresses deep gratitude to the staff at both Presbyterian Hospital and the Hospice Care center at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital where Wendy was able to die with dignity. Wendy is survived by her daughter, Natalie and her partner Martin of Albq; son, Benjamin and his partner Janele of Albq; and son David; mother Nancy Dover and her husband Ed of Albq; brother Kenneth Schneider and his wife Deborah of Peralta, NM; sister Susan Baca and her husband Frank of Albq; brother in law Roger Eldridge of Albq; treasured granddaughters Alaina, Soleille and Renee; numerous nieces & nephews; and her beloved dogs Boo and Ozzy. An open-house memorial service to celebrate Wendy's life will be held at 2917 Calle Grande NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104 on 2/7/15 from 1pm-3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Wendy may be made to Watermelon Mountain Ranch, a local animal shelter. Arrangements were handled with care by Riverside Funeral Home, Albq, NM.
