 HINDMARSH, BARBARA LEE Our loving, caring and beautiful mother joined our father and brother on Jan 21, 2015. Barbara Lee Hindmarsh was born Barbara Lee Whitaker on September 12, 1931. She was born to Ervin and Tommie Whitaker. Barbara grew up in Huntsville, Alabama with two brothers and four sisters. Barbara married Richard Thomas Hindmarsh and they were together until he passed away in 1996. In her career, Barbara was involved in several family businesses while also rearing three children, Richard Matthew Hindmarsh, Tommy Douglas Hindmarsh and Sherry Denise, now Drexler. Barbara was a caring and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Sherry; son Tommy; as well as three grandchildren including Alycia Hindmarsh, Desiree Tanner and Amorette Drexler. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; her sister Jeanne Doeffinger; Bertha Fahsholtz; and brother Jackson Whitaker; as well as many loved nieces and nephews. Barbara touched many lives and truly enjoyed her friends in Albuquerque and her home at Rock Creek in Oregon. Donations to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated. Memorial services are scheduled for Feb 7th at Rock Creek 19295 NW Cornell Rd Hillsboro Oregon, 97124.
