 ALVAREZ, MARIA CLAUDINA COLN passed away on January 21, 2015. She was born on April 25, 1918 in Utuado, Puerto Rico. As an Air Force wife, she traveled extensively throughout the world. Her legacy was the extent to which she kept in contact with family members and friends. She touched many lives. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Flores, their daughter, Vilma Coln, and Vilma's husband, Jim Jones; her three grandchildren, Marchelle Renee Thomson, Darren Coln Klein, and Loren Coln Klein, and their spouses Jason, Carol and Kristen; and her six great-grandchildren, Camryn, Morgan, Evangeline, Hunter, Liev and Neko. She insisted that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren call her "Mom" and visited with them as often as possible. Mom will be missed.
