 CORMIER-PYANE, MARIE It is with heavy hearts that we announced the sudden passing of our beloved mother, wife, sister and friend, Marie Cormier-Payne. She passed from this earth on January 12, 2015. Marie was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1939. Throughout her lifetime, she lived in Louisiana, Texas and New Mexico. While living in Houston, she met and married Curtis Hubbard and had her only child, Jamie Hubbard. The family moved to New Mexico in 1966 and stayed for five years. They moved back to Texas in 1971. It was there that Marie met Isaiah Payne, and they married in 1991. Facing health concerns, Marie and Isaiah moved back to Albuq. to be closer to her son. Marie was kind, strong and feisty, all at the same time. In her 75 years of life, she touched many with her love, her support and her humor. Her family, friends and many spiritual brothers and sisters will now let her go with love and gratitude for the time she shared with all of us.
