 CHAVEZ, VENSESLADO "VINCE" age 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Cancer destroyed his body, but it could not touch his soul. He was surrounded by his loving family: children, April Leon Guerrero, Lori Orona, and Bart Chavez; grandchildren, Amanda Collins, Mariah Chavez, Amy Orona, and Jonathan Leon Guerrero; his wife, Velma Chavez and stepson, Marty Chavez. His wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest under a tree in the Jemez Mountains. It was also his wish to not have any kind of service or ceremony but to just remember him the way he was and continue to love him as he loved us all with an open and loving heart.
