OWENS, GEORGIE I. Age 85, went to join the Lord in Heaven on January 3, 2015. She was born in Clayton, NM. Georgie was preceded in death by her husband and partner Pastor Jim Owens. She and her husband Jim did as Christ the Savior asked and fed his children through their ministry known as the Streets of Hope. Through their faithful and loving endeavors they fed , clothed, and ministered to thousands over many years who were less fortunate, hungry or spiritually in need. Georgie is survived by children Georgie Gale (G.G.) Porter and Farrell (Sonny) Owens. She was preceded in death by two children, Marvin Arthur and a stillborn baby girl who await her in heaven. She loved the Lord, was a faithful servant and has now joined her sweet husband Jim to spend eternity in Heaven. Offerings in her name should be made to Harvest Fellowship Church 5331 Montano NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. A service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Harvest Fellowship, 5331 Montano Blvd. NW, followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
