 LOPEZ, VINCENT (VINNIE) EDWARD JR. 1988-2014 Vincent (Vinnie) Edward Lopez Jr., age 26, a resident of Valencia County went to be with our Lord on Friday, January 2, 2015. Heaven welcomed an angel with a heart of gold that was larger than this life on earth. Vinnie will live on forever in our hearts thru the love and compassion he had for his family, friends, and others; his love for the guitar; and most recently his nephew, CJ. Vinnie was a current member of the "Gun Slinging Birds" an old school rock and blues band. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Gilbert Sanchez; and paternal grandfather, Edward E. Lopez. Vinnie is survived by his loving mother, Sandra Lopez; father, Vincent Lopez Sr.; sister, Cassie Lopez; brother-in-law, Clarance Pino; niece, Analeyah Pino; nephew, Clarance Pino Jr.; grandmother, Emily Lopez; aunt, Suzette Tesch; uncle, Gilbert Sanchez Jr.; uncle, James Sanchez; uncle, Leonard Brooks; aunt and uncle, Theresa and Steve Graves; and God parents, Alan Griego and Laura Griego. He is also survived by many loving cousins and friends. All services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, on Thursday, January 8th beginning with a Visitation at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be Cassie Lopez, Clarance Pino, Juan Jojola, Jerry Lee Sanchez, Gabriel Griego and Armando Martinez.
