HENNINGS, EDWARD A. Age 82, passed away in the early morning, January 4th, 2015. Born on August 20th, 1932 in Milwaukee, WI and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1980 to be close to family. He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Ellen, brother Francis, and parents Edward & Josephine Hennings. He is survived by his brother, Charles Hennings and wife Christine. Also survived by his closest friend and caregiver Cecil Barreras; and his supportive family Leatta, Melissa, Cecil Jr.; and special godchild Cecil David; and friend Paul Vainio; and many other compassionate care-givers. Edward, degreed in multiple languages from the Univ of WI, lived a diverse life full of travel, interesting experiences, and numerous friends. His life of service began as a Franciscan Capuchin Brother. He retired from TWA as an International Flight Service Manager. He served many years as a care-giver to ailing parents and aided many senior friends and neighbors. This kind and generous man will be fondly remembered and missed by many. In honor of his wishes, there will be no services. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Our family and special friends extend our sincere thanks to the team of providers in the AIC Unit of Presbyterian Hospital for their well coordinated, compassionate care.
