BOLTON, MARY JANE May 23, 1918 December 17, 2014 Mary Jane Bolton, 96, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2014. She was born on May 23, 1918 in Medina, Ohio to Chester and Bertha Ryan. She is survived by her son, David (Marian) Bolton of Placitas, NM; grandchildren, Kevin Bolton of Placitas, NM and Heather (Brad) Dirickson of Bernalillo, NM; great-granddaughter, Katelyn (Jarred) McCullough of Grafton, OH; great-great-grandchildren, Paisley Ann and Bennett Hugh McCullough of Grafton, OH; niece, Kathy Steffens of Columbus, OH and nephew, Dan Steffens of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; and cousin, Bob Randall of Sun City, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Martha Steffens. Mary Jane lived most of her life in Medina, OH and worked for the Medina County Board of Elections. She moved to New Mexico in 1986. Mary Jane was a very independent and self-sufficient woman. She enjoyed bowling, craft projects, travel, her dogs and time with her family. Interment will take place in Medina at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in the Spring, 2015. Donations may be made to the Animal Humane Society.
