WOOD, DAVID FRANCIS (WOODY) It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the death of David Francis Wood, who passed at home in Stanley, NM on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Woody was born in Niagra Falls, NY in 1946. He joined the Air Force and upon returning he came to the southwest and loved it so he built his home here. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Beverly; his son Barley Wood; his son Sunny Wood, daughter-in-law Heidi, with granddaughter Jane; and his daughter Tansey Hall, son-in-law Jonathan with grandsons Brayden and Kellen David. He was a loving husband and fantastic father who brightened the lives of all he met. Family and friends are invited to a "Celebration of Life" service at the Stanley Union Church on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 11:00am.
