Corinthians 13:13 Consuelo was born on February 19, 1935 in Las Vegas, New Mexico and passed peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the age of 79. Consuelo embodied love... her selflessness resonated into beauty, grace, protectiveness, compassion, dedication, understanding and an uncanny ability to discern the truth and good in everyone. Consuelo, also known as Connie, or Concha, was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Lucero and Olympia Sena-Lucero, brothers, Victor, Leandro, Horace, Pete, Benny, Herman, sister, Mela, and daughter-in-law, Marlene Meyer. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Julius P. Meyer; daughters and spouses, Cynthia and Charlie, Sharon and Russell, Amanda and Mark; sons and spouses, Julio and Donna, Carlos, Dennis and girlfriend Andrea, Sebastian and Pam, Kiven, Paul and girlfriend, Irma; brothers and spouses, Fred and D'Anne, Julian and Margie; her adopted sisters Isabel Gold and Rita Alacon. Consuelo was endeared to her 17 grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Consuelo loved her family with her whole heart. She opened her home without condition, cooked, nurtured each generation, loved the horse races and BINGO. Sbe was a dedicated homemaker, candy maker and seamstress. A Rosary will be held at Alameda Mortuary Chapel on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 7 p.m. Services to remember her life will be at Nativity Virgin Mary Church on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 9 a.m. immediately followed by burial at San Carlos Cemetery, directly followed by a gathering at Nativity Parish Hall. www.danielsfuneral.com
