Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday November 30, 2014

FOX, DAVID, L. III Age 72, lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, with his wife by his side in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gisela, their daughters and their families: Belinda and John Peltz; granddaughter Emily Peltz, Kentucky and Patricia and Dietmar Licht; grandson Kevin, Germany and his brother Larry Fox and family of Hawaii. Dave was born 1942 in San Francisco, California to David and Reba Fox Jr. Dave could accomplish almost anything he set his mind to, he especially loved wood working. He helped his dad design a windowed dorm along the roof of their house in Santa Cruz allowing the sun to shine into the living room. Dave served 5 years in the United States Army during the Cold War in Germany as a teletype operator. In 1965, Dave returned to the states with his beloved wife Gisela and their 2 daughters Belinda and Patricia. He and his wife spent half their lives living in the USA and half in Germany. They loved to travel and explore places. While living in Germany, they extensively travelled thru Europe, with France being one of their favourite and took their RV as far as Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia. After retirement they moved back to Montana to do RVing and reconnect with the beautiful places in the US. They moved in 2011 to New Mexico to enjoy the sunny weather. Dave worked in Germany for GE Medical Systems as Productivity Manager before retiring. Dave will be sorely missed by his family and friends. At his request no service will be held.
