 VALDEZ, JOSEPHINE "JOSIE" Josie, age 75, went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2014 after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ray Valdez; her children, Larry (Sandy) Archuleta, Joe Archuleta, Claire (Richard) Cleary, Anthony (Kim) Archuleta, Daniel (Katie) Archuleta, Ray (Janice) Valdez, and David (Sofia) Valdez; her step-children, Liz (Ed) Mier, Joseph (Kasha) Valdez, Manuel (Elaine) Valdez and Trish (George) Anaya; 29 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lucille (Frank) Mestas. Josie was preceded in death by her birth mother, Mary Gonzales; parents, Vicente and Ofilia Lopez; sister, Teresa Garcia; son, Robert Archuleta; and grandson, Kieran Archuleta. Among Josie's many blessings were her family and friends. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at New Covenant Church, 7201 Paseo Del Norte NE, between Wyoming and Louisiana.
