BAKER, JOHN "JACK" H. 1933 - 2014 John "Jack" H. Baker, age 81, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014. He was born on March 3, 1933 in Dover, Iowa to James and Bessy Baker. John is survived by his brothers, Kenny and Tommy; daughter, Kimberley; son, Justin Bradley; and companion of 20 years, Renee Balagna. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Juanita (Inki), Bonny, Keith, and Jerry. John moved from Iowa to Watts, California when he was young. He joined the Navy in his late teens. He then met Carol Stark and they married on June 8, 1957. They owned Herman & Helen's Fishing Resort in the San Joaquin River Delta from 1958 to 1973 and then moved to Los Osos, California where he worked in plumbing and heating. John moved to Albuquerque and worked for Masthead International from 1974 to 2001. He then worked for the Albuquerque Publishing Company from 2001 until his retirement in September, 2014.
