 ULIBARRI, MICHAEL Z. Was born May 24, 1966 in Albuquerque. Michael went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 23, 2014 in Albuquerque. Michael will be remembered as a very active, loving person who enjoyed going on Christian Retreats and playing Basketball. He graduated from Rio Grande High School, where he was a star basketball player. Michael worked at Lovelace Medical Center ICU for over seven years, where was a great support to the nurses, patients and staff. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jennie Ulibarri. Michael is survived by his beloved father, Orlando Ulibarri; son, Zane Ulibarri; sisters, Cynthia Ulibarri and Elaine Sichler; brothers, Mike Sichler and Manuel Parra; many nieces, nephews; special pet dog, Z as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him greatly. A Memorial Service will be held at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, 7401 Copper Ave. NE, near Louisiana and Central, on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to a charity of your choice in honor of Michael Ulibarri. The family would like to specially thank Michael and Elaine, Danae and Michelle with Wellesley Care Home, Jim and Cinda and his father, Orlando for their wonderful care and concern for Michael and his family at this difficult time.
