GARCIA, ROBERT C. Robert C. Garcia, 89, went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 21, 2014. Robert passed away peacefully with his family by his side at his home. He was born to Clodio and Dolores Garcia in Anton Chico, NM on November 11, 1925. He is survived by wife, Ida Garcia; his five daughters, Sandra Milliman, JoAnn Keicher, Vera Rogers, Katherine Camper (husband, Sam), Lisa Tillery (husband, Brian); eight grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. He is preceded in death by his sisters and brothers Clodio, Eloisa, Emelia, Ponciana (1915), Ponciana (1916), Abrana, Lee, Viola, and Billy. Robert served in the Army during World War II and received the Good Conduct Medal, Victory Medal WWII, American Campaign Medal, European-African Eastern Campaign Medal and two Bronze Service Stars. Robert was employed by Sandia National Laboratories for more than 30 years. Robert was a hardworking, loyal, giving and very special man. We will all miss him dearly. A Rosary will be held at FRENCH - University on Friday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5303 Phoenix Ave. NE.
