 GABALDON, ROSITA 1924-2014 Mrs. Rosita Gabaldon, age 90, a resident of Los Lunas, NM went to be with her heavenly Father and her beloved husband, Rafael Gabaldon, on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Rosita was the mother of ten children. She was a member of the Sacred Heart League and the Altar Society at the San Clemente Church. Rosita enjoyed being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Rosita was the glue to her large family. No holiday was complete without going to see her. She was our dearly beloved Mama, Nana, and Grandma. We honor her memory by remembering all her wonderful life stories. We remember her frequently traveling with her husband and visiting with friends and family. We remember her world famous salsa. We remember her 29 years of working at the Los Lunas Hospital and Training School where she grew to love each and every one of the children for whom she cared for. We remember her kind heart and the way she made every guest in her home feel warm and welcome. She was preceded in death by her sons, Abelito and Patricio; and her husband of 62 years, Rafael. Rosita's memory and love will be carried on by her daughter, Juanita Gallegos and her husband, Ernest of Belcamp, MD; daughter, Beatrice Garley of Albuquerque, NM; son, Antonio Gabaldon and his wife, Patricia of Glendale, AZ; daughter, Nancy Montoya and her late husband, Arthur of Rio Rancho, NM; daughter, Angela Castillo and her husband, Ruben; daughter, Genevieve Martinez and her husband, Freddie; daughter, Dolores Cano and her husband, Armando; and daughter, Mary Tafoya and her husband, Lawrence, all of Los Lunas, NM; and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great- great-grandchildren. All services will be held at San Clemente Parish, beginning with a Viewing on Thursday, November 13th at 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. A Final Viewing will be held on Friday, November 14th at 12:30 p.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at San Clemente Cemetery.
