 CHAVEZ, GEORGINA Georgina Chavez, defined as the most maternal, loving, selfless, and dignified woman is once again united with her mother, father, son, aunts, uncles, primos, and primas in eternal heaven. Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on November 8, 2014. She entered this world on February 22, 1944, in Albuquerque, NM, to Alfredo and Tomasita Valdez. She is survived by her husband, Frank Chavez, whose love she shared for 52 years; son, Mark Chavez; and daughters, Tommie Hernandez and husband, Peter, and Frances Garcia and husband, Johnny; grandchildren, Isaac, JD, and Sugar; sister, Theresa Montoya and husband, Daniel, and their daughter, Jessica Mascarenas; brother-in-law, Daniel Garcia and his wife, Dorothy and their daughters, Sharon and Ruth; along with many extended family members, god-children, and friends. Georgina and Frank established Bernalillo Feed & Conoco Inc., where they worked together for 41 years. Georgina was a prominent business woman in Bernalillo. She was a house hold name in the community and will be greatly missed. Life's not the breath you take, but the moments that take your breath away. It took our breath away when she took her last. Rosary will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S. Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., also at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
