 MCKENZIE, JOHN E. (JACK) passed away on the evening of October 23, 2014 at his home in Albuquerque. He was born in Grandin, North Dakota on May 31, 1931 and attended Wahpeton School of Science and North Dakota State University. He served in the United States Marine Corp and saw combat in Korea. He loved playing cards and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his wife Bella; two sons, William of Phoenix and Thomas of Albuquerque; and three grandchildren, who were the light of his life, Alexis, Connor and Miranda McKenzie, all of Phoenix, Arizona; plus extended family and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. Services will be held at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, 7401 Copper NE, on Saturday, November 1st at 11:00 am. Reception to follow at the church. Donations in his memory may be made to La Mesa Presbyterian Church.
