MONTOYA, ELSIE LORRAINE born on December 20, 1938 in Taos, NM, passed away on October 16, 2014. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Nick Montoya; parents Jacob and Ethel Hammond; brother Oscar Hammond; and sister Patricia Gonzales. Elsie is survived by three sons, Ernest Tafoya, John Tafoya and wife Anne, Steve Tafoya and wife Judy; daughter Teresa Paques; eight grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister Irene Romero; brother Charles Hammond; and ex-husband Ernestino Tafoya. Rosary will be at 6:30pm onTuesday, October 21, 2014 at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel, 225 San Mateo, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Private burial will follow at a later date in Elizabethtown, NM.
