 HOOKER, RUBY MRS. December 1930 - October 2014 The Beloved Matriarch of our family departed this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 12, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Orbert Gathright (Marlene), East Orange, NJ, Michael Fitzhugh, Fort Worth, TX, and Henry Hooker of Albuquerque, NM; four daughters, Arlita (Pat) Black, Sharlotte Fitzhugh all of Albuquerque, NM, Mary Ann Gathright, Las Vegas, NV and Ruby Jean Morgan (Robert) of Stockton, CA; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren; former husband, Tommie D. Hooker; sister-in-law, Mrs. Mattie Trussell, Meridian, MS; special niece, Brenda Trussell-Graham, and her children and grandchildren, of Meridian, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church members and longtime friends. Friends and family may visit Thursday, October 16, 2014, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, October 17, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 8550 Saul Bell Road NW, Albuquerque, NM (505) 242-8928.
