Obituary for CASPER

CASPER, VIRGINIA TALBOT Age 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2104. Virginia was known for her outgoing personality. She made and kept friends wherever she went. Virginia was an avid reader, a shrewd card player, and loved cooking and entertaining. She grew up in Tiffin, OH, raised a family in Worcester, MA, and retired in Albuquerque, NM. She attended Denison University in Granville, OH, and worked for many years as a bookkeeper for a nonprofit agency which served the elderly. Virginia served for many years as the Pledge Secretary for St. Michael's and All Angels Episcopal Church in Albuquerque. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Nelle Talbot and Adolf F. Talbot; and her brother, Ralph Talbot. She is survived by her son, George A. Casper and daughter-in-law, Cinda Casper of Downingtown, PA; daughter, Elizabeth Casper Hyde and son-in-law, T. Scott Hyde of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, George Matthew Casper of Winfield, PA, Amber Casper Haight, Andrew Hyde and Sarah Hyde; great-grandson, LJ Haight; and eight nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at St. Michael's and All Angels Episcopal Church, 601 Montano Rd NW.
