 WATKINS, MARILYN E. was born September 23, 1926 and peacefully passed into eternity on Friday, July 18, 2014. She is alive today with her risen Savior, Jesus Christ, and her loving husband of 47 years, Jesse Watkins. She is survived by her five children, Dianne Todd and husband Pete, Tom Watkins and wife Harriet, David Watkins and wife Maxine, Mark Watkins and wife Jenny, Dan Watkins and wife Cathy, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family and friends who loved and will miss her. Marilyn faithfully served the Lord beside her husband in Albuquerque, Socorro, and Veguita, NM. She played the organ at Alameda Bible Church for many years and played the "Wedding March" time and time again. She could pick up any sheet of music and play it without fault on the organ or piano. A memorial service will be held at Alameda Bible Church, 220 El Pueblo Road, on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a lunch and fellowship after the service for all who care to come. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Victory Christian School, 220 El Pueblo Rd. NW. ABQ., NM. 87114.
