 CHAVEZ, RICHARD Richard Chavez, born in Albuquerque, NM in 1952, hung up his cowboy hat for the last time on Thursday, August 7, 2014. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Filemon and Roberta Chavez; and brothers, Arturo and Arthur Chavez. Richard is survived by his partner, Carmela; son, Richard Lee; daughters, Roberta and Olivia; daughters-in-law, Marie and Kim; grandchildren, Christina, Syneca, Richard, Arthur, Dakoda, and Aaron; sisters, Clydine, Ana, Sunsa, and Phyllis; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins. A Mass will be Celebrated Friday, August 15, 2014, 1:30 p.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Community, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW.
