HARVEY, HAROLD L. "HAL" Age 88, loving husband, devoted and caring father, and grandfather passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM surrounded by his loving family. Born in Minersville, PA on November 30, 1925, he was a son of the late Harold S. and Mary Minehold Harvey. He was a World War II veteran, enlisted in the Army Air Corps, after graduating from high school. When discharged from the service, he married his high school sweetheart, Betty Lou Schultz, and then he was hired by the DuPont Company of Wilmington, DE as a sales rep. Hal moved to St. Louis, then Los Angeles and traveled numerous states with his job. DuPont sold the fabric division to Stauffer Chemical and he was made national sales manager for that company. He resigned from Stauffer Chemical in 1973 to buy an established window shade business (Aero Shade Company) in Los Angeles, CA and added A - Z Industries wholesale division. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Lou Schultz/Harvey; daughter, Debra and her husband, Bud Dziak; son, Guy F. Harvey; faithful loving dog, Kiera; grandchildren; step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren. A small family service will be held at the church, as requested by Hal.
