OLGUIN, FAUSTINO A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the age of 95 in the home he was born in with his family by his side. Faustino was a decorated Bataan Death March survivor and was a Prisoner of War for 3 & 1/2 years in Japan during World War II. For his service in the U.S. Army, he was awarded the Bronze Star. After returning, he served as a Special Delivery carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and retired after 26 years. Faustino is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret Olguin; daughter, Kathryn Saavedra and husband Michael; son, Toby Olguin and wife Katherine; sister, Leonila Ulibarri; special niece, Janna Moraga; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A special thanks to his dedicated caregivers Paula and Fronia. He will be missed by all. Graveside services have taken place.
