 PARSONS, ROBERT N. (BOB) MAJ. USAF (RET.) Age 81, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014. Bob was a long time resident of Albuquerque. He was born on February 2, 1933 and raised in South Texas. Bob entered the US Air Force in January 1952. In November 1967 he was commissioned as a 2Lt. Bob served in numerous overseas assignments which include Newfoundland, Canada, Greece, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam. He continued his service until January 1984 and retired at Kirtland AFB as a Major. Bob later worked as a substitute teacher for the Albuquerque school system. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Betty. Bob is survived by his wife, Juanita; sister, Betty Ann; and sons, Robert Jr., Tanner and Dustin, and their families and children.
