 MACCORNACK, JAMES A. Age 86, a resident of Los Ranchos, NM passed away Monday, July 14, 2014. He is survived by his spouse of 60 years, Joni; sons, Don and wife, Lynn and James and wife, Jeryl; grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many friends. Jim was bron in Peru and grew up in Gallup, NM. He served in the Army Occupation forces in Japan and attended the University of Colorado graduating in 1952 with a degree in Architectural Engineering. Jim was a practicing professional structural engineer for 63 years contributing to the design and construction of many of the buildings and structures we use and enjoy today. He was a quiet man who devoured books, enjoyed camping, boating, and BMW's. He was loved very much and will be greatly missed. Private services were held at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
