Obituary for STRICKLAND

STRICKLAND, FRANK F. age 81, passed away in his home in Belen, NM on Tuesday, July 8 2014. He was born in Riverside, CA to parents Francis and Pauline Strickland. He served in the US Army as a paratrooper until he was honorably discharged in 1955. He then went to work for the Santa Fe Railroad where he continued until his retirement. He was preceeded in death by his wife Nona Harden Strickland. He is survived by two sons, Michael of Phoenix, AZ and Timothy of Houston, TX; a niece Denise of Broken Arrow, OK and his beloved chihuahua Evy. Close friends Tom and Beverly from Clovis, NM, Vicky, Rudy and Angie of Veguita, NM, and Linda of Albuquerque, NM will miss him very much. During his life Frank was a great supporter of Albuquerque Animal Humane Association, the Humane Society and Roadrunner Food Bank. Donations can be made to any of these organizations in his name. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
