BIDDLE, BARBARA LAMAR In loving memory of Barbara (Bobby) Lamar Biddle/Gates April 1, 1932 - July 8, 2014 Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother who will always be remembered. She had a successful career as an executive secretary, including her tenure at the University of New Mexico in the Linguistics Department. She was an avid gardener, professional singer as a child in Chicago, and the Jr. Women's Club President in Albuquerque, NM. Her loving family and friends will forever cherish the memories of her guidance and wisdom, involvement in charity, commitment to her faith, and as hostess to extravagant, lively dinner parties. There are not enough words in this world to describe the amazing, progressive woman Barbara was. Barbara is survived by her children Apryl Gates-Remmer and Michael Gates; their spouses Jeff Remmer, Mary Gates; grandchildren, Michael Gates, Jacob Gates, Eric Remmer, Alyssa Gates, and Jared Remmer. Barbara's life will be celebrated with an Irish wake held on Friday, July 18, 2014 4:00 p.m. at 6401 Colleen NE. Family and friends are encouraged and welcome to attend.
