Obituary for COOKE

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Friday July 11, 2014

COOKE, SANDRA KAY world traveler, left on June 10, 2014, to enjoy an extended vacation to a destination unknown. She lived to discover new cultures and interesting people. Sandy decided it was time for one final spectacular journey. Once at her destination, she will be joined by her mother, Betty Jane Meador, and together they will enjoy never-ending travel adventures filled with laughter and love. Her daughters, Kimberly Balluff-Griego and Jessica Balluff, and husbands, Dwayne and Toney; grandchildren, Garrett Hall, Sidney Sanchez and Tristan Sanchez, have enjoyed her adventurous spirit and have all taken fun-filled getaways funded by her generosity. Sandy conquered all she set her mind to and felt it was time to relocate and find new and more exciting challenges. Grandma (aka "Mita") will one day invite us to join her again on a new adventure. Until then, we will snuggle up with her puppies, Rascal and Puddin, and wait for postcards to arrive via first-class dream. Bon Voyage! Sandy's trip is PAID IN FULL; however, any donation to help fund Sandy's mission to save every puppy dog is greatly appreciated.
