 NEHER, RUTH ALLEN Age 92, passed away in Albuquerque July 6, 2014. She was born in 1921 on a homestead near Elizabeth, Colorado, as the fourth of five children of Frank and Eugie Allen. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Bob; her daughter, Karen Ruth Francis; two sisters, Frances and Marjorie; two brothers, Charles and Luke Allen, and their parents. She is survived by her son, Allen Neher, of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends. Ruth was an elementary school secretary for 23 years at various schools. It was a job she loved. She was a longtime member of Harwood United Methodist Church. She and Bob enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing, but she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at Harwood (Grace) United Methodist Church, 420 San Lorenzo NW.
