BIGGS, MARY Mary A. Biggs, 81, of Albuquerque, died Monday, July 7, 2014 at The Brookdale Assisted Living Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born November 24, 1932 in Schulenburg, Texas to Charlie and Mary Krause. She is survived by husband Frank Biggs; sons, Milo Crawford and Warner Johnson of Albuquerque; daughters, Mahala Pond of Yakima, Washington, Melissa Gibbs and Joda Zila of Albuquerque. She had 12 brothers and sisters; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Mary's son Mark Crawford preceded her in death. Mary was a long time resident of Albuquerque where she lived since leaving her childhood home in Texas. She graduated from University of New Mexico with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in counseling from Webster University. Mary especially loved the holidays and was renowned for her Christmas Eve party. She enjoyed spending time talking with family and friends and enjoyed shopping. She was the number one fan of the Dallas Cowboys and never missed a game. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday July 12 at Central United Methodist Church located at 201 University Blvd. N.E.
