ATENCIO, HERACLIO M. Memorial services for Heraclio M. Atencio will be Monday, July 7, 2014, 11:00 A.M. at the Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ with Ron Benedick officiating. Heraclio was born March 2, 1936 in Las Nutrias, New Mexico to Victoriano and Anastasia De Maes Atencio. He passed from this life on June 29, 2014 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 78. Mr. Atencio enjoyed fishing, his animals, reading his Bible and going to worship when he could. He loved his family deeply. Heraclio was preceded in death by his parents Victoriano and Anastasia; middle son Anthony; youngest daughter Gina; middle daughter Julie; stillborn daughter Julie, and his sister Consuelo Creamens; nephew Leonard. He is survived by his children Marlena Atencio and husband Greg Lanier, Daniel Atencio and his wife Cynthia, Dwayne (Rocky) Atencio and wife Nicole; step-son Anthony Quintana and wife April; brother Ernesto Maez; son-in-law Fermin; grandchildren Natasha, Aaron and Brandon, Stephanie, Vincent, Abram, Little Vincent "MinVin", Richard, Samuel, Nicolas, Brenden, Zachary, Madison, Keilan Cruz, Frankie Chavez, Yolanda Chavez, Melinda, Anthony Jr., Isaac, Zoe, Michael, Leah, Robert, Lacie, Baby Daniel, Gabriel, Mateo, Victoria, Nati, Junior, Hugo; niece Renee Trujillo; nephew Joseph Trujillo, and numerous great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
