 SCANLON, MARIANGELA "MARI" Age 83, died on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, due to complications related to lymphoma. She was born on January 3, 1931 in Albuquerque. She was married in 1956 to Jerry Scanlon of Dawson, New Mexico, who survives her; along with seven devoted children; and 18 grandchildren. A Rosary will be held at Aquinas Newman Center on Friday, June 27, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held also at The Newman Center on Saturday 28, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe on Monday, June 30, 2014, at 9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, www.lls.org.
