 ELFNER, GERTI Gerti Elfner, born May 29, 1924, in Pforzheim, Germany, left this world on June 19, 2014, in Tucson, AZ. Survived by son Eric in Seattle, son Axel and daughter-in-law Leslie in Tucson. Dedicated wife & mother, she survived the world's worst and appreciated the world's best. Good, smart, strong, decent, honest. She came to America in 1955 with nothing, ran a successful automotive repair shop with husband, Hermann, and made a good life for her family in Albuquerque, NM. She was loved, and she will be missed. Rest in peace, mom - you did well, and you've given enough.
