 BORQUEZ, EMILIA DIANE Baby Emilia Diane Borquez was called to Heaven to receive her wings and halo on Friday, June 13, 2014. She was born on April 27, 2014 and fought for each of her 48 days here on earth. She had not one, but many health issues to overcome in order to stay with us as long as she did. She touched the lives of many who witnessed or heard of her strength and how she thrived and amazed the nurses and doctors that cared for her. She is being greeted in heaven by her paternal grandmother, Cynthia Diane Lopez; maternal great-grandparents, Emma Cruz and Ralph Rodriguez; and maternal great-aunt, Barbara Smith. Our precious little angel will always be remembered by her parents, Archie and Erica Borquez; sister, Angelica Borquez; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Edna Rodriguez; maternal great-grandparent, Sara Rodriguez; aunts, Monique Lopez and Cynthia Lopez; uncles, Ralph Rodriguez III, Isidro Lopez, Mario Lopez, and Marcus Lopez; cousins, Avery Lopez, Erica Lopez, and Anthony Lopez; and many other great-aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at FRENCH-Westside from 5-7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, June 20, 2014, 9:00 a.m., at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande, located at 5901 St. Josephs Ave NW.
