GREENUP, EDITH PEDERSON Age 90, died May 25, 2014. She was born May 30, 1923 in Plaza, North Dakota. Edith is survived by her children, Sandra Outwater, Reba Griggs-Greenup and husband Frank, Vicki Tweet and husband, Douglas, Scott Greenup and wife, Diane; her grandchildren, Nissa Martinez , Lorin Thomas, Nicholas Tweet and wife, Erica, Bill Tweet, Darell Tweet and Norman Tweet; six great grandchildren and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darell; her parents, Emil and Serina Pederson; her son, Randall and all of her siblings. Edith was a country school teacher as a teenager. She met and married Darell Greenup who served during WW II in the US Army so Edith joined the US Coast Guard serving also during that time. After the war they received their degrees in Education and dedicated their lives to teaching in numerous grade schools where they lived. Mrs. Greenup was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She enjoyed games, especially Scrabble and even joined a club where she made many friends.
