 CHAVEZ, GEORGE (GREGORIO) Age 71, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Maria Efran Apodoca and Antenacio Chavez; his brother Jose; his sisters Flora Zamora, Josie Aragon and Gregordia. George survived by his loving wife Irene; his sons Manuel, Christopher, Anthony and Michael; his daughters Jennifer, Laurie and Bernadette; his five grandchildren; sister Roberta Lopez; and brothers Julian and Manual. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 5:00PM at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel, located at 225 San Mateo Blvd NE, with a celebration of his life to follow at 6:00PM. Final viewing will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 9:00AM at the Church of the Ascension, located at 2150 Raymac Rd. SW, with Mass of a Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM.
